Australia — FAQ
PatrolSync for Australian security companies — frequently asked questions
Common questions about Australia support, QR patrol checkpoints, state and territory licence records, and client-ready reporting.
Is PatrolSync available in Australia?
PatrolSync supports Australian security company requirements with state and territory licence record visibility, QR checkpoint patrols, reporting, and client portal direction. Australian onboarding is currently guided rather than self-serve.
How does PatrolSync handle Australian security licences?
Australia uses state and territory security licensing. PatrolSync lets Australian organisations record licence details such as licence number, licence type, expiry date, and relevant state or territory context. PatrolSync does not independently verify licence validity with licensing authorities.
Can PatrolSync support sites in different Australian states?
Yes. Australian sites can be recorded with state or territory details such as NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT, and NT. This keeps addresses and operational records clearer for multi-state security providers.
Does PatrolSync support QR checkpoint patrols in Australia?
Yes. Guards scan QR checkpoints using the PatrolSync mobile app. Each scan creates a timestamped patrol record and can include GPS-backed evidence where location data is available.
Can PatrolSync help with client reporting?
Yes. PatrolSync creates professional patrol reports from recorded activity. Reports can include checkpoint activity, timestamps, guard details, location evidence where available, and a Verification ID clients can check at verify.patrolsync.app.
Are printed QR labels available in Australia?
Not yet. Printed label fulfilment is currently UK-only while wider fulfilment and tax handling are reviewed. Australian companies can still print QR labels locally using a label printer or standard office printer.
How much does PatrolSync cost in Australia?
The Australian pricing approach is AU$149 per month including the first site, with additional sites from AU$25 per month each and unlimited guards. Australian onboarding is currently guided while local billing and fulfilment details are finalised.
