By accessing or using PatrolSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Service Overview
PatrolSync is a security accountability platform designed to record patrol activity, provide GPS-supported data, generate reports, and offer operational visibility to security providers and their clients.
2. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all information entered into PatrolSync is accurate and lawfully obtained. You are responsible for managing your personnel and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws including employment, licensing, and data protection regulations.
3. Licence and Work Eligibility Disclaimer
PatrolSync does not verify SIA licences or any licensing authority records and does not carry out right-to-work checks. All information displayed is based on data supplied by the Customer and is provided for operational visibility only.
The Customer remains fully responsible for ensuring all personnel are legally permitted to work and that all required checks are completed and maintained.
4. Data Accuracy and Audit Integrity
PatrolSync records data based on user input and device-generated information such as GPS. Accuracy may vary due to environmental or technical factors. PatrolSync does not guarantee absolute accuracy of recorded data.
Data recorded within PatrolSync reflects submitted activity as captured by the platform. Once submitted and stored by the PatrolSync system, patrol scan records and associated audit data are intended to preserve audit integrity and are not designed to be altered through standard customer use of the platform.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, or use PatrolSync for unlawful purposes.
6. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and ensuring only authorised users have access.
7. Availability
PatrolSync is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PatrolSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses or damages, including loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of contracts, loss of profits, loss of data, or losses arising from reliance on information recorded or displayed within the platform.
The Customer remains fully responsible for operational decisions, staffing decisions, compliance decisions, and all actions taken in reliance on PatrolSync data, reports, alerts, or dashboard information.
9. Data Protection
The Customer acts as the data controller and PatrolSync acts as a data processor. You are responsible for compliance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page and continued use of PatrolSync after any update takes effect will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
